David Koon is our fearless leader and is committed to giving the best that Christian radio has to offer on 950 WTLN and 1520 WHIM and to give you Talk radios finest on 660 WORL. David is a 29 year veteran Christian Radio broadcaster and has worked with some of the best Christian Radio stations in the country including the past 7 years with Salem Communications in Atlanta and now Orlando. David has also worked in Akron, Tulsa, and Shreveport. David is also a very talented musician. He plays trombone and will be featured on some Sunday’s with the WTLN/WHIM “Church of the Week” program.
David is married to Andrea and they have 4 kids, Lyla, Kara, Jon, and Sarah. David was born in Georgia and raised in Louisiana. Faith has been strong influence in David’s life. David’s favorite Scripture in is Philippians 3:13-14. …forgetting what lies behind and reaching forward to what lies ahead, I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.
Allan is the creative whiz and man of many voices on many of the WTLN and WHIM commercials. In addition to his outlet of imagination, Allan is the Afternoon Announcer/Board Engineer for AM950 WTLN and WHIM, as well as the director for CrossTalk, from 5:00 to 6:00 weekday afternoons on AM950 WTLN. Allan’s spiritual wit exudes friendship as he shares scriptures and anecdotes along with the music and Bible teaching programs of the afternoon.
A native of Baltimore, Maryland, Allan lived in New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Michigan where he worked at various secular stations before moving to Orlando, and joining AM950 WTLN and AM1520 WHIM in September of 1991.
He trusted Christ as his personal Savior in August 1990. He is active in supporting world missions and is a facilitator of Bible studies with Good News Jail & Prison Ministry. “To say it’s challenging is an understatement. I always learn from teaching…and often get next week’s teaching topic from this week’s questions,” says Allan.
Joyfully single, Allan’s hobbies include jogging, guitar playing and song writing, bird watching, and hiking, chocolate and pizza.
Colin is experience and highly skilled at production and voice work and as a producer / director of top rated radio shows. He is dedicated to training new and fellow employees, imparting his knowledge to teach them to excel as individuals and team members. His experience includes work at Clear Channel stations and other companies. He often conducts on-air interviews and co-hosts brokered shows. He is often the client’s choice for radio producers. He is the daily Producer on the syndicated Investor’s Edge Show. He works together with clients and sales to build a successful and profitable business for all concerned. Colin is the father of two.

Tom is a seasoned pro and adds a long lists of talents to our programming staff with experience in Radio, TV, and the theme park industry. Tom has been featured in TV commercials for a number of products and worked at Disney and Universal Studios, just to name a few. As a performer, he has enjoyed some very demanding positions involving interaction with guests and audiences for various shows. You can catch Tom at the station Monday through Saturdays.
Jeff is a radio junkie! He considers this company his dream job because of its association with the teaching ministries. Jeff is one of the 'go to' guy at the station, even if it means staying after hours. He loves basketball and anything Chicago related. He works here from 7:00 am to 3:00 pm M-F.
Jim is one of our best 'weekend warriors' here at the station. When he's not moonlighting with us, he's a full time truck driver for one of the leading companies inFlorida. He has faithfully worked (juggled) the Saturday and Sunday shifts at WTLN/WHIM for about 10 years. His skill and ability to work well with clients doing weekend shows has been commented on many times. Jim is a real pro and an asset to have here at the station and also is a licensed broadcast engineer.
Debrah grew up in Florida and graduated from Apopka High School. She has 3 children ages 24 yrs, 20 yrs, and her baby girl is 16. She has been married to Isaac Hayden, for 5 yrs and resides in Plymouth.
Debrah joined Moffit media in 2002, as the receptionist. She enjoys her job and has become a student of the radio business and has grown in her understanding which makes her an asset for Salem Communications. Her day is complete when she looks back to recount something new she has learned. She changed positions since Salem Communications purchased the company. She trained for Traffic then filled in for 3 weeks to relieve Amanda while she was on her honeymoon. Now, she is her assistant and loves it! Her husband is a Comptroller for Growers Supply Service and he is also the Pastor of First Baptist Church of Zellwood. Her responsibilities as Youth Director, leaves her little time for anything else but she wouldn’t have it any other way.

In 1998, Kathleen Jackson founded The Godly Business Woman Magazine, a publication designed to educate, inspire and encourage women to be all they can be through Jesus Christ. Kathleen is a graduate of CLASServices, and is a member of Concerned Women of America and The National Association for Female Executives, and sits on the board of the National Woman’s Ministry Association.
She is also a motivational speaker to varied audiences and was most recently featured on Billy Graham’s Hour of Decision. Kathleen has authored two books to help women achieve balance in their lives.Kathleen brings years of advertising and marketing experience to WTLN & WHIM radio. Kathleen’s current quest is to help promote the Orlando Salem Broadcast stations. As a marketing representative, she has a wealth of experience and a strong Christian faith to build great relationships and help meet the goals of our programs and advertisers. She currently resides in Cassleberry, Florida, with her husband Royce. Her daughter, Michelle and son in law Rusty live in Orlando, Florida with their three children.
10Bill was born and raised in Southwest Georgia and graduated from Georgia Tech with a degree in electrical engineering. He served two years as an army officer then spent the next 30+ years in the high-tech electronic sales engineering field. He is also a graduate ofRollins College with a master’s degree in business and New Orleans Baptist Seminary with a Christian Education degree. Since leaving the electronics business, he has worked in several local churches in administrative ministry positions. He has been with WTLN since 2002 as the part-time coordinator of relations with local churches and pastors.
Bill is married and has two grown sons and three grandsons. He and his wife, Linda, are active members of First Baptist Church of Oviedo. They have lived in theOrlando area since 1969.

Lou was born and raised on the Ohio River in Point Pleasant, West Virginia. His first job was at WJEH in Gallipolis, Ohio, in 1960 during high school as part time announcer and board op. Graduated in 1962 and attended Marshall University. He continued to work in radio during his college years and after. Worked as announcer, morning drive DJ, music director and program director inHuntington, West Virginia through 1975. Earned FCC First Class License in 1975 and started his career as an engineering assistant at the sameWest Virginia facility.
Lou was hired as a Chief Engineer in 1979. From 1995 to present he has been employed in various capacities of broadcast engineering in Charlotte andRaleigh, North Carolina, and Orlando. He was certified through the Society of Broadcast Engineers as AM Directional Specialist and Professional Broadcast Engineer. FAA Licensed Pilot / Commercial Airplane / Instrument / Multiengine. Married with 5 children and 3 grandchildren.
Joe Ferraro was born and raised in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Honorably discharged from the United States Marine Corps in 1979.
Graduated from the American Academy of Broadcasting in Philadelphia in 1980. His twenty plus years in radio and some television has brought him from the Philadelphia market through South Jersey to Jacksonville, Florida, and then, landing in the 'City Beautiful,' Orlando.
Joe adds to the Salem team his years of experience of being Promotions Director, doing 'on the air,' stuff, putting a face on the stations in the public and every point in between.
Like many in the radio industry, Joe is a semi-frustrated musician. He plays the guitar and kicks around on the drums as well as sings with the Voices of Calvary Choir. Joe is currently attending Valencia Community College going after a BSN degree.
